The development trend of magnetic pumps

(1) At present, the temperature resistance limit of rare earth magnetic material Sm2Co17 has reached 350 ℃, which is widely used in many high-temperature applications such as thermal oil. It can save complex and expensive cooling and sealing systems and improve reliability.

(2) The corrosion of seals in corrosive medium processes is a major problem, but magnetic pumps can easily solve it. For certain media such as hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid, fluoroplastic lined magnetic pumps can be used. For corrosive and high-temperature media such as acetic acid, Hastelloy alloy (C276, B2) can be used. The use of special alloy materials is the development trend of magnetic pumps.

(3) The application of liquid chlorine transportation technology has developed secondary sealing technology for magnetic pumps targeting this extremely dangerous medium. If the pump is accidentally damaged, there is a second layer of sealing system to ensure no medium leakage. The secondary seal can be a magnetic seal or even a dry gas seal. At the same time, it can be equipped with leakage probes, temperature probes, and anti rotation protection technology to ensure seamless connection!

(4) The application of high-pressure systems is a challenge for mechanical seals. The price of mechanical seals is higher than that of high-pressure pumps. Magnetic pumps are very simple, just increase the wall thickness of the isolation cover. The magnetic pump can withstand a system pressure of 350Mpa.

(5) The application of easily curable medium technology may encounter insulation and cooling problems for liquids that are prone to condensation at room temperature, mechanical seals, or shielded pumps. Magnetic pumps do not require cooling. It can be made into a double jacket type and insulated with steam to ensure that the liquid inside the pump does not solidify. Can be used in conjunction with temperature probes.
